A few days ago, I just sat in my garden thinking about how things are going so fast these days and how nature refreshes our souls.
While I admired the landscape, two butterflies appeared. First one of them was leaning on a branch and because it was brown in color, it camouflaged itself very well, then another butterfly appeared and the one that was resting came out of its rest to start a small dance between them.
A single monento I dare say. I thought to myself "I should get my cell phone and record this right now" but at the same time I realized that I didn't need to show it to anyone, because that moment was a kind of small gift and I should make the most of it.
Sometimes we spend a lot of time attached to the virtual world that we fail to enjoy what we are seeing, eating, doing, reading, listening to, etc. We cling to the idea that we need to capture or film that moment in order to have it always with us. But in that instant I realized that that moment will always be recorded in memory, much more than if I had stopped and picked up my phone.
Life is to be lived, intensely
